Cargo Survey

Survey is an independent examination, during which a detailed inspection and verification of cargo and vehicles is carried out.

Depending on the location and specific of the works required, the InTrans Group of Companies attracts only specialized organizations possessing all necessary licenses and certificates that confirm their qualifications.

Our main partner for survey works in the Central and Northwest Federal District of the Russian Federation is the Nord-West Survey, LLC.

The survey services include the following aspects:

• Inspection of the cargo condition and integrity of labelling and packaging, visual inspection;
• Recalculation of the number of cargo packages in the vehicle;
• Control weighting of cargo;
• Validation for cargo stowage and securing on board of the vehicle;
• Inspection of the vehicle for compliance with the transportation requirements for certain cargoes and provision of its safety during transportation;
• Observation of the cargo safety during the customs/veterinary inspections;
• Installation/removal of sensors against unauthorized access to the cargo during transportation;
• Development of schemes for stowage and securing of various cargoes inside the container;
• Sorting, separation and labelling of cargoes;
• Sampling, organization of laboratory tests of all types of cargo;
• Sealing/unsealing of containers and vehicles;
• Arrangement of the expert examination of unauthorized opening of the locking and sealing devices of any type.

On the basis of findings of the expert examination, the client is provided with an internationally recognised report containing full and accurate information on the expert examination execution, regulations implemented, and the findings of the analysis.
