Cargo insurance

The InTrans Group of Companies produces a full range of services related to the transportation of cargoes. An integral part of these services is the cargo insurance for the whole period of its transportation.

Our insurance partner is RESO-Guarantee (Open Joint-Stock Insurance Company), which for more than 20 years has proved itself as a reliable player at the insurance market, and possesses the highest level of reliability (A++)  in accordance with the "Expert RA" rating.

All types of cargoes are accepted for insurance, including the following:

• General cargoes;
• Cargoes in consolidated containers;
• Refrigerated cargoes;
• Veterinary cargoes;
• Dangerous cargoes.

Moreover, the InTrans Group of Companies and RESO-Guarantee have signed the general insurance policies for individual groups of goods:

• Dairy products;
• Cargoes in consolidated containers;
• General cargoes;
• Petrochemical products in pellet form.

The list of goods, for which a General insurance policy is signed, can be extended.

We provide reliable insurance protection both for transportation at the territory of Russia, as well as for the international transportation. The only exceptions are those countries that are traditionally excluded from the insurance coverage or that are currently engaged in military activities, such as Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Libya. Besides, additional risks are provided for shipments to/from specific regions of the Russian Federation, such as Chechnya, Dagestan, and North Ossetia.

We insure cargoes shipped by all modes of transport:

• Sea transport;
• Road transport;
• Railway transport;
• Air transport;
• Combined transport.

Insurance at the lowest rates is carried out under the terms of the "A"-type risks.

If necessary, we may also provide cargo protection for the period of transportation at client’s request.

Thus, the InTrans Group of Companies is not only responsible for the provision of our clients’ cargo safety for the period of transportation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, but at the same time takes extra measures to minimize the risks and offer additional safety guarantees when unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, technological accidents, and wrongful acts of third parties occur.
